Actually I had a dream last night, the circumstances of which were rather strange. I got up at around 4:30 in the morning because I wanted to catch some of the Super Tuesday coverage on CNN. So I turned on the computer, just in time for Hilary’s speech, and I went back to bed to listen to it from there. I made it to the end of her speech, but not much further. I was still pretty tired and somehow I dozed off again. And that’s when I had another one of those epic, colorful dreams that once you wake up you remember only fragments of. I remember that it was a really beautiful dream, I was feeling good and I had a great time, and there was this strange feeling of hope and confidence. But the only details I can recall are two young boys throwing stones at a building. A little later I woke up to find Barack Obama telling people “Yes we can” at the end of his speech.
It kinda irked me that I had missed the first 20 minutes of his 22-minute speech, so I went to Youtube a couple of hours later to watch it, and to my big surprise near the end of his speech he was talking about a couple of young boys who were tossing stones at an apartment building. I guess it was Barack Obama who inspired my dream, and I truly hope he will inspire a lot more things in the months to come. I have today decided to officially endorse Barack Obama for president, not because he made me dream of boys but because of pretty much everything alse he said in his speech last night. You can watch it here, if you’d like to be inspired too.
In other news, I’ve come to like Nakayama Yuma another little bit more today after reading an article in which he said that he used to be a crybaby and that his parents put him into a baseball team against his will when he was in first grade. He said he hated it at first, but after a while he began to enjoy it.
Awww… I love crybabies. ♥ If they’re boys. Crybabygirls are annoying. And I just learned a new word. 泣き虫 Crybaby. Now, if you’re an avid reader you may remember that 虫 means bug or insect. 泣 is the kanji for weep, cry or moan. So a nakimushi is actually a weeping bug. That is so cute.![]()
And finally Takada Sho (who co-stars in Battery, and who was in the Fresh Junior talk segment in last Sunday’s Shonen Club) gets some spotlight too. Up until now all the Battery pimping was about Nakayama and a tiny little bit of Shintaro. But that Sankei article was actually about “2 fresh and hopeful people”, the second one being Takada, who is quoted as saying “I think Nakayama-kun is really cool”. Aww ♥. That reminds me that when I posted that Shokura picspam the other day there was one shot of Nakayama and Takada together, and I secretly thought that Takada looked at Nakayama as if he had a major crush on him. Maybe I wasn’t even so wrong about that.
Oh and btw, was there ever a Johnny’s idols image ban? If so, what happened to it? *points to the photo that came with the article*
