Remember 2003? It was a pretty awful year. The Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrates over Texas upon reentry, killing all 7 astronauts onboard. The United States invade Iraq. The last old-style Volkswagen Beetle rolls off its production line in Mexico. Gregory Peck dies. Michael Jackson is arrested by police on charges of child molestation.
It really wasn’t a very good year. Except…
Ya-Ya-yah went on the air with their very own TV show. And what a great show that was in the first two years. This show was made of three things: fun, games, and music. What an ingenious formula. Unfortunately Johnny seems to have forgotten about that formula, or maybe the rights on it have expired or something, I don’t know. Either way, these old shows were fun to watch and now, five years later they still are. Why am I telling you this?
Okay, to make a long story short, thanks to a certain ever amazing and always pretty lady you can now complete your collection of 2003 Ya-Ya-yah episodes, or maybe, if you have never seen them before, start it. I edited the new Ya-Ya-yah Archives section of my site with all the MediaFire download links for the 2003 shows today, and just looking at the screencaps made me feel all natsukashii. There were so many great shows that year, and also many appearances of KAT-TUN and Kanjani8 and NEWS members when they were, well, five years younger than they are today. I’m very happy that with the indespensable help of 4ever_dicembre I’m able to make all these shows available for all who have never seen them before or those who are still missing some episodes in their collection. So please, if you’re interested head over to the Ya-Ya-yah Archives and download some of the old treasures while the links still work.
Speaking of which, all the links were checked and double-checked, so they should all be working at the time I’m writing this. However, I’m not sure how long they will last, so you better get the old episodes while you can. I updated all the 2003 links today. I also already have the links for all 2004 episodes, and I’ll add them within the next couple of days.
In other news, I’ve also migrated all the old Hyakushiki episodes to the new site. I’m not sure if all these links still work, probably not, so if you find any broken or expired links please feel free to let me know. I’ll do my best to replace them as soon as possible. Btw, please note that due to technical reasons there are now two RSS feeds for my site, one for the regular blog posts, one just for new episodes of Hyakushiki. Sometimes I upload new Hyakushiki episodes without mentioning it in my blog posts, so if you want to make sure not to miss any new episodes you might want to subscribe to the Hyakushiki feed as well. In more other news, much to my disdain I have noticed that some of my older blog posts were truncated when I moved to the new site. I am now going through hundreds of old posts to fix that problem, and the fact that in my country days are legally limited to a length of 24 hours isn’t exactly helpful.
So yeah, I’m busy with all these things at the moment, which means that I hardly find the time to reply to people’s comments. I’m really very sorry about that, and I’ll try to catch up in the next couple of days.
