Okay, technically it’s still spring, and a good part of this spring still felt like winter. But when I sleep with the window wide open all night and a million birds wake me up with their deafening chirping (that for some reason some people refer to as “singing”) at 4:30am, then that’s summer to me. So, as far as I’m concerned summer has started, and by the time it’ll come to an end I’ll have been to Japan and seen Summary 2008. I spent a small fortune on a flight ticket today. Not exactly the cheapest flight I ever had to Tokyo, but at least cheaper than the last one so I’m not complaining. Anywho, can’t go back now, it’s settled. I’ll be in Tokyo from late July to early August, and that means it’ll be just a little under two years since I was there the last time to see Daibouken. Two friggin’ years! I’m so happy right now, but I’m also very exhausted. Checking out flights and picking the one that works best for me was a nerve wrecking experience. All I want to do now is sleep and dream of going to a faraway land where they have princes and unicorns and dragons and… uh, never mind.
It’s already past midnight in Japan, and that means Yamada Ryosuke is now 15 years old. おめでとう! I haven’t planned anything special for him. Instead I sent him a letter. Sorry, but you can’t read it.
Speaking of Ryosuke, the air date for his drama SP Furuhata Chugakusei has been announced. It’ll air on Saturday, June 14th at 7pm on FujiTV.
I’ll end this post with last Sunday’s Show wa Hey!Say! Live Stage. Enjoy.
