You know, maybe it’s because I spent half my life in customer service that I’m applying extremely high standards to everything and everyone (including myself btw). I’ve learned to please people professionally, while in the meantime, as a customer myself, I had to be pleased very easily. The thing about service people is that most of them don’t do a good job while their employers think they do. But in reality most service people give a shit about their job and their job performance. It’s an income, what else do you want? Customers? Yeah, whatever.

Unfortunately they don’t even realize that they’re all customers themselves, and that service people work for all other people. People in the service industry are basically working for each other plus all the others who don’t give a shit about them. Nobody seems to realize how important service people are because they provide every fucking thing you want. You all want to eat, drink, ride trains, fly planes, you want people who entertain you, clean up after you, handle your money for you, take care of all your life for you. We all do. Everybody is working their asses off so that everyone can have their asses wiped, and when I’m a customer I expect that whoever is serving me shows me some damn respect because they need me too.

Anyway, as high as my standards may be, they’re not unreachable, although I sometimes fail at meeting them myself. However, if I mess up my own business it’s my own mess. But if somebody else messes up my business and leaves me with that mess then I’m not pleased.

Customers want to be pleased. Pleased customers are returning customers. It’s a businnes, and customers mean money. Money is what it’s all about and that’s why your employer wants your keep your pay as low as possible. Which may be why your performance is so bored and mediocre. Human society is totally going down the drain because the people who are working hard to keep it running are treated like shit by everybody and that’s why they treat everybody else like shit too. And because we all treat each other like shit we’re all already used to it. Nobody gives a damn anymore, there’s a total lack of respect towards other people in human society these days. Because most people have never been treated with respect. They probably don’t even know what it is.

I truly hate living in a society that shows no respect to the ones who maintain it. People don’t respect people anymore (not sure if they ever have, really). People only respect money. Some respect it a bit too much. Do you know how many millionaires there are in the world? 10 million. Their combined wealth is 41 million million US$. They could buy the whole planet, except… they already own it and run everybody’s lives. I think neither the people who own a lot of money themselves nor the people who use other people’s money to work with are doing a very good job. In this world every child could be fed, there could be a computer in every classroom, and a school in every village, a human colony on every moon in the solar system, science and art could thrive and everybody could live a decent and peaceful life. Instead look at the mess. If human society can’t do better than that to hell with it, like seriously. Damn, why did we have to be apes? We should have been birds or something. And if you ask me if I honestly believe that man evolved from apes the answer is “Apes” yes, “evolved” no.

I know everybody just wants my money, but please, as long as it’s still mine treat it with the same respect you treat your own money with, thank you.

When I ask my bank to transfer money to my credit card I expect them to do it right away and not fucking four days later! It’s my money and I need it now! Summary tickets become less available and more expensive every minute. I could have my Summary ticket now, if it weren’t for some imbecile bank employee who doesn’t know how to make a proper transfer and who doesn’t give a shit what happens to other people.

If I end up not getting a Summary ticket just because of this I’ll sue that bank for cruelty and lack of respect. And in a decent society I’d even have a chance at winning.
