Shaun Smith (17) from Staffordshire, who auditioned on Britain’s Got Talent last night, is so totally not my type of guy. I’m not really into jocks I guess. But nevertheless I certainly do appreciate talent when I see it. That was a great audition, and I’m not even in that kind of music either. But he’s got a great voice, and if somebody manages to make me enjoy a song that I normally wouldn’t like I guess it says a lot.
Great competition this year. Last year I was rooting for George Sampson and Andrew Johnston, and that was about it. This year there are so many people I want to see advance, and so many different types of people too. Shaheen Jafargholi, Jamie Pugh, Shaun Smith, Stavros Flatley, Elliot Evans, and don’t even get me started on Susan Boyle. Oh the live shows are gonna be so exciting…
