So it’s summer, and about half of my friends are going to Japan this year, some of them for the very first time. Time for me, the experienced world traveller, to give you a few useful tips on how to not look like a stupid foreigner. I mean, wou will probably still look like a foreigner, but maybe not as stupid.
In this first (and probably last) post of the series we’ll have a look at how to behave on a train. We already know that if you happen to find yourself in the same carriage with your favourite idol you’re supposed to pretend that you don’t know him, and leave the carriage. But there are many other things that may not be quite as obvious, so here’s my Top 10 of where to do it in Japan as suggested by Tokyo Metro. Thanks to Kermit for the pictures. Have fun in Japan everyone. I wish I could be there too.
And in other news, over 2000 toolbar downloads, yo! Awesome.
