Guess what, it’ll be Christmas soon. I know that not only because the shops are already selling Christmas cakes and cookies, but also because ITV1 officially started off the tearjerking-TV-program season last night. Soon there’ll be charity shows all over the place because the run up towards Christmas is the time when people are most likely to give money. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Now, The Daily Mail’s Pride of Britain Awards weren’t exactly a charity program, as they didn’t ask for any money, but it was a major tearjerker nonetheless.
I don’t know, maybe it’s because I myself got struck with meningitis as a child and nearly died that I have a very soft spot in my heart for little kids who suffer from a life threatening disease but fight their way through it and live to tell the story. Not everyone then goes on to collect a shitload of money for the hostpital that saved their life. I certainly didn’t, but then again I was only four years old.
Aww.
I’m tellin’ ya, everybody should get seriously ill as a child, almost die, and then just take their lives from there. The world would be a better place.
In other news, Morimoto Shintaro, Nakajima Kento and Kikuchi Fuma (together with their TOKIO senpai Joshima Shigeru) will soon appear on a TV program called 天才をつくる!ガリレオ脳. That’s Tensai wo tsukuru! Galileo nouken. A rough translation would be “Making a genius! Galileo brain”. I have no idea what this is all about, but brainy programs are generally not a bad thing. Weird combination though, Joshima, Shintaro, Nakaken and Fuma. Anyway, the show will be recorded on October 17. No air date has been announced as of yet.
And finally, observant readers may have noticed that the Ya-Ya-yah tab is back at the top of the page. I know, I know, I said that I wouldn’t re-upload any of the episodes anymore. I changed my mind, sue me. But I’ve been watching a couple of the old shows recently, and they’re just too big a treasure to not share them with fans who may not have been around when they first aired. So yeah, if you’re bored because nothing new is happening in Hey!Say!JUMP world go back in time and watch some of the old Ya-Ya-yah shows. Especially the episodes from 2003 and 2004 are great fun to watch.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my thoughts on the first episode of Shuumatsu YY JUMPing. Oh wait, today isn’t Friday.^^;; Oh well.
Jaa~
