Sorry, there was no blog post yesterday because I had nothing interesting whatsoever to talk about. There wouldn’t have been a blog post today either if I hadn’t woken up to this…
I had been waiting for this one to pop up ever since I heard that Snow Prince ~ Kinjirareta koi no melody would premiere at this year’s Hawaii International Film Festival. For weeks I’ve been stalking various websites every morning when I got up, and now it’s finally here. The Snow Prince Trailer. And the great news is: it has English subtitles.

LOL at Shintaro falling on his face at 0:31. XD I know I shouldn’t be laughing at people falling down, but I can’t help it. It just looks so hilarious. Even in real life when I see people on the street falling over their own feet I just have to LOL.
Anyway, lovely little trailer there. Beautiful scenery. I don’t know if it’s the best movie I will ever have seen, but either way it’s good enough for me. I’m so looking forward to seeing this movie at a theatre near me, and hopefully soon. Shintaro is so cute. And the dog too. A boy and a dog, that’s all I really need in a movie.
And speaking of cute Shintaro, the official website for Snow Prince is up. There is an awesome picture of Shintaro and his dog on the front page, and they’re even offering banners for people like me to put on their own websites to promote the movie. I like that. So here, check it out.
Hm, I really really wonder if there will be song tie-in with this movie. I mean they didn’t form Morimoto Shintaro with Snow Prince GasshoudanShonen Club did they? o.O Now that would be utterly awesome if Shintaro released a single to promote his movie. Hey, a fanboy can dream, right?
EDIT: Stupid subtitles totally distracted me, so I didn’t even notice this. Thanks to Seca for pointing out to me that we can actually hear Morimoto Shintaro with Snow Prince Gasshoudan sing in this trailer. The song is aptly titled Snow Prince. I guess it’s almost safe to say that it will be released as a single, probably in early December. That’s great news, and I’m really looking forward to it. However, I’m also dreading it because it may be horrible news for Hey!Say!JUMP fans. Same target audience. I simply cannot see Shintaro releasing a single and HSJ releasing something one or two weeks before or after that, so we might have to slowly get used to the idea that 2009 will have been a year without HSJ releasing any music at all. I really hope I’m wrong about this. =/
