Fujigaya Christel

by Kamichan | October 22, 2009

Maria Hellwig was mentioned on Hyakushiki. I can die in peace now. >_>

Anyway, this week’s episode was all about Japanese people who are well known outside of Japan. It was quite interesting really. However, my favourite moment was the last 3 seconds of the show, which was a preview of next week’s show. Next week will be about counterfeit goods (you know, like fake Louis Vuitton bags and things like that), and for some reason I found Fujigaya‘s impersonation of former FujiTV newscaster Takigawa Christel quite hilarious. This is probably only funny if you’ve ever seen Christel open a newscast with the words “Konban wa, Takigawa Christel desu”. For those who haven’t I’ve dug up a clip.

I’m ROFLing at this, and I have no idea why, because it isn’t even that funny. Oh well, I guess I’m just easy to please.
