Okay, so here I was thinking maybe what could help me get over my fandom depression would be a nice and funny episode of Hyakushiki. Turns out there is no Hyakushiki today because Fuji TV thinks people would rather stay up after midnight to watch a FIFA U17 football match between Switzerland and Japan. What’sですよ！U17 my ass. Who the hell gives a shit about under 17-year-olds? Uh… I mean… oh never mind.
Anyway, so there was no Hyakushiki today, but at least this week in fandom will end with Shonen Club on Sunday, so maybe the prospect of that will keep me alive.
In other news, Snow Prince was screened at this year’s TIFFCOM in Tokyo last week, and one movie critic from Singapore wrote a rather favorable review. Click here to read it.
And finally, I’m still uploading old Ya-Ya-yah episodes. It’s going a bit more slowly at the moment, more slowly than at the beginning, for two reasons: 1. many of the 2003 to 2005 episodes still had quite a decent number of links that were still working so that I would only have to reupload them to either Megaupload or MediaFire. Most of the 2007 episodes, however, had never been uploaded to MU in the first place and all the MF links have expired, so I have to upload them to both MU and MF. 2. The file sizes of the 2007 episodes are much bigger, so it takes a longer time to upload an episode. But anyway, things are going well, and at the current rate I’ll be done in about a week or so. So if you’re bored by your Hey!Say!JUMP fandom you can alsways go back in time and watch some of the old stuff.
