Okay, so the photobook is out. This post may contain spoilers. If you don’t want me to spoil anything for you because you’d rather wait for your own copy of the photobook to arrive you should stop reading now.

I don’t really have a lot to say about this. Another Live Stage with one of my not-favourite songs. Nice to watch it once, but nothing to flail about.

The rest of the show was quite enjoyable though. Yabu and Hikaru teamed up with the whacky guy from Penalty and 8-year-old Kato Seishiro, the little kid from Ninkyou Helper who’s apparently got a mighty boycrush on Yabu, and together they went to play Park Golf which is like real Golf with bigger balls. And bigger balls are of course always a good thing. Anyway, it was fun to watch them play a game and succeed and fail (mostly fail) and just be real people for once.

So yeah.

On to the photobook. I remember back when it was first announced that the photobook came with a message DVD I was saying that we shouldn’t expect too much from this DVD, maybe a minute from each member for a total of maybe 10 or so. Well, maybe that was a bit too optimistic. So far there are two clips out there that add up to a total of less than 6 minutes. But there seems to be more. At the beginning of the Live clip for a very short moment you can see what looks like Daiki in a photoshoot, so I guess that’s on the DVD as well, except nobody has ripped it yet, so we may get our 10 minutes of videos after all. However, I didn’t buy a DVD with Photobook, I bought a Photobook with DVD, so the photos is what really matters and any nice video clips of Hey!Say!JUMP are an added bonus.

Having said that, as short as it may be that added bonus is pretty hilarious.

So sweet. ♥ I love how they’re all cracking up, especially Yabu who is suddenly 12 years old again. I also love how they’re all slightly insane at the end. LOL at Hikaru just running away, and Yuto’s “Nya!” is sure to haunt my in my dreams.

The second clip is from the Tengoku concert where almost all of them (with the noteable exception of Takaki, Ryutaro, Chinen and Daiki) started crying more or less convincingly (I’m looking at you, Keito!). At first I thought Keito was laughing. Then I thought his puppy had died.

As for the photobook, I haven’t seen any scans yet, only a couple of previews from Happy Town, so I guess I’ll wait with my verdict on the photos until I have the scans or my own copy of the book which according to CDJapan was mailed out to me today, so I guess I’ll have it some time next week. It looks like they’re mostly concert photos. I’m not too crazy about concert photos in general, although I have to admit that some of them are truly awesome. *flails*
