Hello. My name is Kamichan. You may remember me from my blog (hint: it’s the one you’re currently reading, duh!). Anyway, welcome to my place. There have been quite a few new readers in the last couple of days. It’s quite amazing how Hey!Say!JUMP keep gaining new fans even when they’re not doing anything for a year. So yeah, welcome, new people. Especially for you here’s my commenting policy in a nutshell:
- I read and love all comments
- sometimes I reply to all comments, no matter how stupid they are
- sometimes I reply to no comments at all, no matter how smart they are
- sometimes I reply to some comments but not to others, and it largely depends on my mood and the amount of time I have at my disposal
I’ve noticed that a number of people I’ve never heard of before have been leaving comments recently. Thank you all very much. I think I may have replied to some of them but not to all of them. Don’t take it personally, Christmas is only a week away and I don’t have enough time to do all the things I have to do, so I’m sorry if I have to ignore you for now.
Anyway, Christmas is only a week away, and today I woke up to half a centimeter of snow, yay! Half a centimeter, that’s not even enough to cover the lawn outside my window, and the weatherman on the radio it’s likely to become warmer instead of colder in the next couple of days, so I guess the chances of a white Christmas are rather slim. Oh well, I guess I have to retreat to other means in order to get me into a Christmas mood. This is completely unrelated to Johnny’s, as some of my posts are, but it’s still close. I mean, the kid is Asian, right? It’ll have to do for today.
This is Sungha Jung (I think I posted a video of him before some time ago), and he plays the guitar rather nicely…
Very nice. I’ll post more Christmas-but-not-Johnny’s-related videos in the next couple of days, because it’s what I feel like doing, and some of them are really good. I mean really good.
And finally a little bit of Johnny’s after all…
I already mentioned that Snow Prince ~ Kinjirareta koi no melody came in at #10 at the Japanese box office this past weekend, now here’s some figures: the movie opened on 234 screens with a per-screen average of ~US$ 1,514 for a total of US$ 354,187. It’s kinda difficult to extrapolate actual audience figures from that because adults usually pay around ¥1,800 for a movie ticket whereas children pay only ¥1,000 or so, and we have no idea what the adult-child ratio was for Snow Prince, although I think it’s safe to say that there were a lot of children watching the movie. If all movie goers were adults they were around 32,000, if they were all children then they were 17,700. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle, at around 25,000 or so. Not really that impressive, but I’m sure the movie will do better in the next couple of weeks with Christmas and New Year coming up.
Go, Snow Prince!
