Okay, so after Hey!Say!JUMP announced their new single Hitomi no screen the other day I’ve been checking YesAsia and CD Japan pretty much on an hourly basis. I figured that the single would be released on February 10th because Johnny’s singles are usually announced 5 weeks in advance, give or take a week. And February 10th would have been really nice for me because my birthday is on the 11th.

Yeah well, that’s not gonna happen because as I just found out on the 10th KAT-TUN will release their new single Love yourself – Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki. What’sですよ！

And Hitomi no screen won’t be released on February 3rd either because that’s when TOKIO will release their new single advance / Mata Asa ga Kuru. (YesAsia – CD Japan)

So my guess is now that Hitomi no screen will be released on February 17th, which is good because by that time it’ll already have had 4 weeks of TV exposure as theme song for Hidarime Tantei EYE which starts airing on January 23rd, and that’ll be good for the sales because people will be hungry for it.

Anyway, with KAT-TUN releasing their single on the 10th and JUMP releasing theirs possibly on the 17th I expect some serious KAT-TUN / JUMP interaction on Music Station on February 12.
