Just finished watching the 1st episode of Hidarime Tantei EYE. What can I say, it was actually quite enjoyable to watch, not only because Yamachan got punched in the face twice by the delightfully deranged Ishihara Satomi, but also because at one point he fell off his bike and hit his head against a metal railing. Oh, and did I mention the fact that less than 5 minutes into the episode his nipples had a brief cameo? Yeah, I hope they’ll guest star again in one of the upcoming episodes because they played their role rather brilliantly. I’m not gonna get into the details of the plot because most people probably haven’t seen it and I don’t want to spoil anything.
Anyway, I made a couple of spoiler-free screencaps for your enjoyment. Unfortunately I came too late to catch Yamachan‘s nipples. Sorry ’bout that. Feel free to take these and turn them into icons or whatever. Crediting kamichan.com would be nice though. ^^
Not quite sure what Yuma‘s role was in all of this, but apparently he’ll be back again next week. So there.
Anyway, this first episode wasn’t half bad. Now let’s wait and see how the ratings were. Anything over 10% would be really nice.
Note to self: I shouldn’t leave the room during commercial breaks to get another cup of tea because apparently I missed a preview of the Hitomi no Screen PV which, as it turns out, looks samuraiishly awesome. Oh well. =/
