So what else is new?

Hey!Say!JUMP will be on Hey!Hey!Hey! Music Champ next month. The show will be recorded on February 7th. My guess is that it will air on February 22nd because that’s two days before Hitomi no Screen is released, and it’s also when good old Kondo Masahiko will release his next single Zanbara. It’s one of the perks when you reach a certain age. You can do whatever you want and don’t have to give a shit about convention. Everybody releases their singles in Wednesdays. Matchy releases his singles on Mondays. There you go.

So yeah, Matchy releases his single on the 22nd, HSJ release theirs on the 24th, so my guess is this episode of Hey!Hey!Hey! will air on the 22nd, and I’m sure it’s gonna be a lot fo fun.

In other news, episode 1 of Hidarime Tantei EYE drew in an audience of 8.5% last Saturday, down 0.6 points from the HTE Special that aired back in October. As my older readers may remember 8.5% is exactly the rating that episode 1 of Nakayama Yuma‘s drama Koishite Akuma got last July, and you will also remember that it went pretty much downhill from there, ending in an average rating of 6.6% for the whole series. Oh well, maybe teenage dramas just can’t draw any more attention than that, I don’t know. Then again Tantei Gakuen Q had an average viewership of 11.2%, and Scrap Teacher had 11.4%, but these two both had a somewhat more diverse cast. Just sayin’.

And finally, did you know that the sperm of a mouse is longer than the sperm of an elephant? Think about that.
