150k after two days for Hitomi no Screen, that’s very nice. It woud be even nicer if they managed to go Platinum (250k). Now If only they could get another Music Station performance that would really help, but apparently that’s not going to happen. Arashi will be on Music Station next week, but Hey!Say!JUMP won’t be. No Chinen sitting on Ohno‘s lap.  That’s a major letdown, but what are you gonna do. =/

And speaking of letdowns, I’ve watched the Hitomi no Screen PV Making, and I’m afraid I have to agree with a lot of comments from people who thought that it was a a bit dull and boring. I’m not sure why that is. watching the boys practice their sword fight scenes is interesting to watch, but it’s hardly enough to keep you on the edge of your seat for 20 minutes. Unlike previous PV Makings there wasn’t a whole lot of talking. Creating subtitles for this Making should take around 5 minutes because nobody ever says anything. That was a bit disappointing too. And finally, what I was probably missing the most is the silly boyish fooling around that we’ve seen on previous occasions. True, the boys are growing up, they’re getting more mature, except Hikaru of course who’s still 12-years-old and who still enjoys behaving like he is. There are a few short scenes that are very funny and hilarious to watch, but there could have been a lot more.

But hey, it’s just a Making. We have a #1 single and an awesome PV, and the greatest 14-year-old in the universe. That’s all that matters really.
