Frequently asked questions
1. Is Johnny’s Toolbar available for other browsers like Opera or Chrome?
Johnny’s Toolbar is only available for Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari at this point. I don’t know if it will become available for other browsers in the future, but if and when it does I’ll announce it on this page.
2. The toolbar is so Hey!Say!JUMP biased. Can I change my toolbar to NEWS or KAT-TUN?
Sure. Johnny’s Toolbar is actually 10 toolbars in one. Switch your toolbar to your favorite group as described above under Getting started. You can switch between toolbars as often as you like. No further downloads are necessary.
3. The RSS is driving me insane. There are too many feeds. Can you change that?
There are a lot of feeds, that’s true. However, most fans follow more than just one group so I’d like to keep all the group communities in there. It would be really nice if each user could individually add or remove their own feeds, but due to technical restraints that’s not possible at this point.
4. I hate the news ticker. Can I disable it?
Johnny’s Toolbar is customizable to some extent, i.e. you can disable certain components like the news ticker if you don’t need them.
…….

Please note that you can only disable full menus and component but not individual items in each menu.
5. The toolbar is too wide for my screen resoution. Is there anything I can do to make it smaller?
You can disable items you may not need, so that there’s more room for the other components (see question #4). Or you can also shrink the toolbar so that all the menu titles disappear and only the icons are left. That way all components should fit on your screen. Again, click the down arrow left of the search box and then Shrink Toolbar.
6. Can I add my own links to the toolbar.
That’s not possible at this point, sorry.
7. The toolbar is missing a really important link to an official site or popular community. Can you add it?
I won’t promise anything, but if you send me the link in a comment below I’ll consider it.
